Will voters react to the alleged sleaze and this governments performance in the Labour heartlands of Hartlepool by-election , plus the mayoral votes in the West Midlands / Tees Valley.

I doubt sleaze will have much of an impact.
The vaccine roll out will.
And an ineffective leader of the opposition who has been at war with large sections of his own membership since he took over.
As a card carrying (but disillusioned and very marginalised) member of the Labour Party, I expect a grim set of results. It didn't need a cynical deployment of gunboats in the Channel, but no doubt that will also play for the teflon buffoon in NO 10.

Yes a tough one to take , and there no easy answer , solution, or direction for Labour to go follow , they need a big re think .
I know you won't agree but I always wonder where we would be be if David Miliband had won and not Ed , as it does seem that a core of Labour voters do like that centrist politics , and respectively, it must be a difficult one for you as to which Labour Party to follow or wish for .
