Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I watched most of the Posh-Derby game on the telly.
Derby were better side for much of the game, but they tired towards the end and conceded the winner in the 10th minute of added time!
I dont think we have much to fear if we play anywhere near the level we hit at Blackpool.

I'm very concerned that the game is taking place at London Road. Quick quiz question for you - what makes Paul Wheeler unique in Cardiff City's history?
Answer, he's the only player to score a winning goal for City at Peterborough.

Thankyou Paul!

Bogey side.
They did the double on us when we won the championship, but IIRC were relegated the same season.

Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Are midweek games on Sky red button?
-
Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Sky can only put a limited number of mid-week fixtures on the red button, this set of fixtures isn’t one of them, Coventry away on Sept 15th is our next red button game.

Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Jonson Clarke-Harris (supposedly a summer transfer target) charged by FA for historic social media postings that appear to be homophobic.
That may have an impact tomorrow night - on selection and/or his state of mind.

Newspaper (can't remember which) said it was on red button yesterday, but who believes what is in the Press?

Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Should smash these - go for a cautious 3-1 City, reckon we'll be top after this and next two games.

Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Happily take a boring 0-1 at a ground that has been quite horrible. Aside from the defeats, I most remember when we were 4 nil up at half time but drew.
Be nice to build up a bit of momentum.

Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I am looking at a 2-0 win to break the hoodoo.
We are so much a better side with Sean Morrison in it. Underrated by many, including myself, for a long time, it would be interesting to see win, loss ratio when Morrison plays or misses out due to injury. I suspect the figures would be telling.
Bamba has legend status. So should Morrison imo.

Why do you always seem to want to set us up for a fall?

Will Mr.McCarthy pick the same side? Any injuries left over from Blackpool?

Dont think there are any new injuries so I expect the same side. MM doesnt change unless he has to.

Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
I'm confident we will win, which in turn is making me nervous.
I don't think we are that good and this division is always a tough slog.

But better to think that way and be pleasantly surprised that be super confident and get destroyed. Expect the worst and hope for the best.

You don't sound too confident :hehe:
And what sane person is with us? We could be 4 up at half time and I'll still be not confident.
-
Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread
Too early to tell how good we are.
I’m hoping it’s very good
-
Re: PETERBOROUGH UTD v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

4 up at Peterborough at half time and then hang on desperately for a draw!!!!! Ridiculous, that’d never, ever happen:getscoat:
