Personally can't wait to get a look at our new players. And I think it'll be interesting to see who get pitch time or even bench time. It might tell us if a few people are ear marked for the exit door. The most excited I've been for a per-season game for a long long time.

That’ll be an improvement on last year, Cambridge beat us in the first one hour game 2=0 and then we salvaged some honour with a 1-1 draw in the second game - there were clues as to what was to come in our pre season last year, it was all pretty mediocre stuff.Quote:

Yes last pre-season was a tough watch. I suspect there are a lot of players looking to try and catch the managers eye so I'm hoping we see at least more committed performances.Quote:

I know what you mean, but I wouldn't mind Watters staying here - his record for the Under 23's at the back end of the 20/21 season and in Leagues One ot Two suggests he's a good finisher and if we let him go, I think he could turn out to be another Rhys Healey.Quote:
