I don't think she should resign, but you have to be a pretty reckless driver to get banned. How often did she do it without getting caught? Was she a dangerous driver? Were pedestrians put at risk etc?
I think an apology is fine, but a theme does seem to be emerging that there is a bit of a hypocritical aura emerging in some.

Didn’t Brandon Lewis suggest the offences of breaking Covid laws and getting a speeding ticket we’re comparable a few weeks ago?
