A boring but appears sensible answer is that it takes time to i) confirm nationality, ii) register player with FIFA, iii) organise visas for Russia.
He was unknown on the 6th of August to 99% of us and out first Wales game was 1st of September.
He seems excited and wanting to get into the next squad.
I'm sure that Grangetown Blue willhave something to say on the matter.....
