Watch: Cardiff fans furious at sprinklers on and ground staff taking the p*ss
Angry Bluebirds' fans complained sprinklers were turned on and that Rotherham groundstaff made little effort to clear surface water after a torrential downpour forced the match to be abandoned.

Compensation and replay.
Re: Watch: Cardiff fans furious at sprinklers on and ground staff taking the p*ss
There’s no precedent for them giving us the result or even playing the last 44 minutes with a 1-0 lead. If anything happens it will be a small fine, but likely a replay and absolutely absolutely nothing else.

I agree but the only hope is that they want to make an example out of them to stop this happening again. I think it would have been abandoned anyway but I don’t think there groundstaff have helped the situation for Rotherham.

It won’t happen because it rained and a game got abandoned, it happens pretty regularly.

It happens quite regularly when its been raining/snowing for hours not after 15 minutes of rain.

No. It’s the English football league and we’re welsh.
Re: Watch: Cardiff fans furious at sprinklers on and ground staff taking the p*ss
There is no scope either the FA or EFL regulations for anything other than a replay from scratch. Even the compensation is clearly defined.
The most that will happen is Rotherham may receive a fine relating to their facilities.
