NOW VILLA PLAYER TURNS DOWN CITY ACCORDING TO FL WORLD
Re: NOW VILLA PLAYER TURNS DOWN CITY ACCORDING TO FL WORLD
I doubt the club were serious about bringing him in. Two loan RBs would have been serious short-termism.
Perry Ng was the top target and he (hopefully) is signing - helped maybe by the media stories about Guilbert.
There was never any story to say an offer had been made, or accepted, or a medical set up - and most media stories had Bristol City as much as Cardiff as 'interested' in the player.
It may turn out that players on top of their games at Crawley and Crewe are better options for us than bench-warmers at Villa or Bournemouth (although another CB is still needed).

Guilbert could have been a ploy to get Crewe to take our offer. Sounds like Ng’s head has been turned by our interest so Crewe more inclined to take our new offer.
