O/T 8mm cine film

Chaps, need some help please?

Looking for a reliable provider of converting 8mm cine film to USB/ DVD. Old family memories & far to precious to hand over to any cowboys. Lots of companies out there do this via postal service but has anyone used one they can recommend please?

I was walking through Pontypridd inside market last week and I noticed a stall there that was offering this sort of service. Perhaps worth a bit of research?

Or project the film onto a white screen and film it with an HD camera. Although there may be a few issues with that suggestion.....:-)

Used this chap a few yrs ago to put around a dozen cine films onto a DVD. First class job.
