Notts 75 all out. Somerset struggling in their game. Our run rate is very good too Looking good.
Great bowling performance. Weighell bowled the best I've seen him. Brilliant all round
Could do with Leics pulling something out of the bag against Somerset today and Notts beating Northants. With the weather atm in London, Surrey/Warks ending in a tie wouldn’t hurt either, haha.
The foxes chase down a total I didn’t expect them to at Taunton. Notts edge a thriller at Grantham. Surrey run out comfortable victors at the Oval. Not a bad set of results for us and I think means we’ve qualified regardless of results on Thursday, maybe even as winners with number of wins and run rate?
I think so, baring some collapse à la Notts in Cardiff.
This has been an enjoyable tournament, helped by Glammy doing well ofc, lot of permutations at play on Thursday.
If it’s the semis then wondering if the game will go ahead at Sophia Gardens with the franchise game taking place the next evening?
Yorkshire recovering to 185-7 with an unbroken fifty stand - they have nine overs left to bat and I think they’re headed for a good score for Cardiff unless we bowl them out.
Looks a competitive enough total with those seen so far at Sophia Gardens this year. Let Yorks get away with it a little towards the end but bowled out within the fifty overs. 231 to win then.
Glamorgan 118-0 with both openers past fifty.
189/4 need 42 with 35 balls left, gonna be close
Anyone else , with 6 wickets in hand, I would say job done.
However, experience tells me that when Glamorgan are involved extreme caution is required.
11 off the last over needed
dismal end after a good start but gave away too many runs
Well, fairplay to Yorks as until I left the house just over an hour ago it looked like a cert Glammy would just about ease to victory (despite the obvious ofc).
Still a really good campaign and finish top of the pile. But that was a disappointing way to end the group stage, really panicked and threw it away. At least it was entertaining!
Chucked it away, but Glamorgan have done well in two out of the three competitions they’ve been in this season and I wouldn’t have predicted that given how few matches Labuschagne and Neser were going to play (in the end they played less than expected).
