Re: What are the daftest chants you’ve heard down the City?
The anti-English stuff is ridiculous and the people who sing it are thick as shit.
I never have and never will get involved in it.
The majority of our managers and players have been English and the club was set up by an Englishman.
The knuckle draggers who sing it would have a shock if they did their family tree and saw that their great-grand parents were probably English - Particularly the valley boys.

Shanks says No
I don't think so
But I've heard of the Cardiff aggro
As if these two legendary football managers in the late 60s/early 70s would be sit around discussing the skinhead hooligan element at Ninian Park, and all it's associated problems!

Here's a daft one considering how many times I saw City lose at Ninian Park:
'His name is Jimmy Scoular
And he's the leader of the Blues.
We never get beat at Ninian Park
We never, ever lose.'

Re: What are the daftest chants you’ve heard down the City?
The daftest one I ever heard would have to be the Wiggy chant. Sung to the same tune as 'Wanky Wanderers', it was aimed at midfielder Nathan Wigg, and went "Oh Wiggy Wiggy, Wiggy Wiggy Wiggy Wiggy, Wiggy Wigg".
I had to rack my brain to work out that this chant (and others like it) are based on the song 'Son of my Father' by Chicory Tip. This dates its earliest possible outing to 1972, and it was still around while Wigg was at City, between 1993 and 1996.
