    Re: Bring back National Service...

    Good observation James.

Its a pity the Tories then, over the last 14 years didn't ring fence money for youth services to the tune of around lets say Ł2.5 billion a year?

    Re: Bring back National Service...

I’d prefer that some of the reported Ł2.5 billion per year needed to send my kids on someone else’s jolly was used to perhaps keep youth clubs open in the UK so some kids have these opportunities...

    Bring back National Service...

...from a man whose missus didn’t pay tax to the UK and also held a green card for the USA so he can scuttle off if needed.

Re: 40 Killed In Hamas Attacks In Israel

    Hmmm...

It's a good question and I'm tempted to say because a sizeable number of voters in the USA are morons but I won't.

Most are concerned about the economy and wider politics doesn't really...

Have a puff on your inhaler buddy. I didn't mean to bring on a cardiac.

I wasn't having a dig at you per se just thought it was surprising comparison?

    Re: BBC Political Bias

    I agree James.

Dick Sharpe subbing Boris 800 grand isn't what your normal man on the street would do.

She dishes it out to both sides.

I may be wrong but Derbyshire has always struck me as being an actual journalist.

Re: 40 Killed In Hamas Attacks In Israel

    That's quite 'a take' James.

Annoying woke lefties versus an authoritarian, who tried to overturn a democratic election and then incited an insurrection in an attempt to remain in power.

    I'm...

Re: Attendance as a Percentage of Capacity

Plenty of other clubs have quite a lot of empty seats knocking about when I watch highlights on the TV.

Stoke, Wednesday, Coventry, Birmingham, Swansea and a few more all in stadiums too big for...

Re: Attendance as a Percentage of Capacity

No difference to Ninian Park for the majority of my time watching City.

I remember the 'Jock Stein' game which had an attendance of 40000. Next City game which was Bristol City attracted(?) about...

    Re: Yosser Hughes

He was also a match going football supporter.

His portrayal of Yosser Hughes captured the UK at that time vividly.

  15. Re: According to this picture/ thread on X we are a catholic team

Missed Liverpool being in the Catholic club gang. More sterling research from the lad. I suppose he's going on their version of Fields of Athenry and hatred of the Tories?
  16. Re: According to this picture/ thread on X we are a catholic team

I don't think that makes them a protestant club now.

The lad who compiled that list is clueless if he thinks religion has anything to do with football clubs in the UK apart from the Old Firm and...

    Re: Is this dodgy?

It's a terrible look for VG's political integrity and his subsequent non attendance when the matter was discussed at the Senedd. He's coming across as aloof and unaccountable for me.

    Re: Leighton James

    This (all day long).

He was a bitter, twisted Jack who phucking hated City.

    As it should be.
  22. Re: What would be your strategy for next season

Having the players score a few more goals, concede a few less, passing the ball forward, even perhaps they try running around a bit and looking as if they can be arsed?

    Simple things really.

Re: Angela Raynor In The Spotlight
