    Re: MY CITY MY SHIRT

Cardiff City Foundation is a charity and receives funding from Local Authorities not Cardiff City FC and therefore is not guided by the club as to where the work takes place. As for Grangetown, lived...
  2. Re: CARDIFF CITY v DERBY COUNTY. Match thread

Bring in Bacuna, you say. You, sir, have the gift of Mick.
  3. Re: Whats the roughest place you have been to in the UK or US ?

Been to a few scary places around the world but not as scary as Shire Newton.
  4. Re: Bluebirds pre-season crowd application rejected

“the Bluebirds' submission included contributions from academics, the English Football League (EFL) and other sporting bodies and clubs including the Welsh Rugby Union, Swansea City, Glamorgan...

    CCFC ADC query

Just wondered if anyone knew what is happening with City’s ADC. My lad has been desperate to get to training and is doing so with his local team but no news from ADC. I hear the Academy kids have...
  7. Re: Ex-Pats - Whats life really like for locals

Only kidding and couldn’t resist. One question, would you ever come back?
  8. Re: Statue For David Silva, And Whitts Please

I remember how hard it was to raise the money for the Keenor statue and it’s thanks to the efforts of a few, TLG and others, that the final figure was achieved. However, given the same circumstances,...
  9. Re: Ex-Pats - Whats life really like for locals

Ex-pats? You mean tax-evading, sun-seeking British economic immigrants who speak English only, refuse to integrate and are suspicious of anything foreign, yeah?

    Re: Churchill

Also, Hitler only had one ball. I don’t think he would have invaded Poland if he had had two. Just saying.

    Re: Messi !!!!!!

Rochdale v Bury or PSG v Real Madrid? Difficult decision! 😂
  12. Re: Space X astronauts are returning to earth

The BBC said they were coming back in the first private taxi service for astronauts. Money up front or on the meter?

    Re: Eddie Howe leaves Bournemouth

Top man. My kid played against his kid, CCFC ADC v Bournemouth ADC, last summer. Fair play, he came along to watch and ended up having selfies with a lot of happy Cardiff youngsters even though they...

    Re: Keith Pontin

RIP, Keith. Thanks for the memories.
  15. Re: FT: FULHAM 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY. (Fulham win 3 - 2 on agg)

It’s looks what swings it. According to Mick McCarthy, Watkins’ good looks dazzled the Jack defenders. He was too pretty for them. So, when I saw Patterson come on, I knew the game was lost.
  16. Re: Cardiff City: Burglar broke into home of Sol Bamba gets....

His neighbours in Rumney and surrounding areas must really welcome that news. Just hope his ‘community service’ is nowhere near my community.
  17. Re: FULHAM v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

We play USA style these days and drinks breaks make it 4 quarters of 22.5 minutes (sponsored by Billy’s Badges). Go Bluebirds!
  18. Re: I can see this being played out in the Canton Stand

It’s translated as, “can we sit down, our legs are tired”.
  19. Re: Much post-match gnashing of teeth from some tonight..

From 14th to 5th. Whatever happens in the 2nd leg, it’s been a good season. Not the prettiest football to watch but alas we missed out on signing Messi again last summer.
  20. Re: CARDIFF CITY v FULHAM. Matchday thread

I know it’s not over yet but nobody really thought they’d beat Brentford and I can remember nobody thought they’d beat Reading in the playoff final all those years ago.
  21. Anyone remember the Boys Enclosure In the old Grange End?

Always loved the boys enclosure in the old wooden Grange End at NP. My dad was always working and couldn’t take me to football but the boys enclosure meant it didn’t matter. I could go with other...
  22. Re: Cardiff Council are killing the City.

Out of interest, where in your opinion is the centre of Cardiff?
  23. Re: How we all feeling before the big game? Plans for the evening?

    Re: Wife Swapping

If you had a wife, would she want to swap you? With your carnal knowledge and dexterity, I doubt it.

    Power to the People

    3967

Raising your fist used to mean unity in the face of oppression. So why are some now saying it means black power? I think the comrades in Fulham’s Tooting Popular Front might disagree.
