  1. Re: Rammstein gig could be heard 11 miles away - looking forward to the Cardiff gig tonight and I don't have a ticket!

I think in the lowest tier lots of people just went onto the pitch and stood through the gig. There were also areas behind the stage and other parts of the stadium where tickets were not being sold...

Went with my son. He booked the tickets three years ago! It’s been a long wait. He absolutely loved it. So did I. Although I wish they would do Spiel Uhr live!
  3. Re: Rammstein gig could be heard 11 miles away - looking forward to the Cardiff gig tonight and I don't have a ticket!

They are one of the biggest bands in the world with a huge and loyal following but are not considered mainstream so get little airplay. That makes their success even more impressive. If last night’s...

Great photo. Would love to see them smash Glastonbury but I guess Glasto wouldn’t be able to provide the pyrotechnics. What an incredible night. Also impressed with the organisation at the stadium....

Rammstein. Brutal. Breathtaking. Brilliant. Best gig I have been to in my entire life. Fukking wonderful.
  6. Re: There's a huge new migrant issue unfolding. So why isn't there any real debate about THIS one?

Liddle is The Sun I think. Not that I read the rag.
  7. Re: There's a huge new migrant issue unfolding. So why isn't there any real debate about THIS one?

Glover’s views are no more relevant than anybody else’s. He is just a right wing journo. We actually have labour shortages in this country. Still let’s blame immigrants because that’s what right...

Re: Wee Jimmy Krankie is off again

Worse than Johnson? You’re kidding me. Johnson’s corruption and lying is on an industrial scale.

    Re: GLAMMY

Such a good and important win. In the end a number of players made big contributions. Byrom’s knock in the first innings ensured we didn’t have to follow on. Ingram and Root batted brilliantly and a...

    Re: GLAMMY

I fear Carlson is going to go the same way as all our promising younger players over the past 10/15 years. He is not timing the ball at all. Time to bring in Tom Bevan.
    David Lloyd should also be...

Lokrum is a tiny island well worth a visit. Also worth walking the city fortress walls surrounding Dubrovnik. It’s a very atmospheric place

    Re: The holiday thread

We spent two weeks there in 2014. It’s a lovely City. Well worth doing a trip into Montenegro to see Kotor and Budva. Stunning scenery and great places to visit. A short ferry ride to Lokrum is also...

Great to hear that Valletta is so nice. I wasn’t sure what to expect as my missus has booked this and thinks I will like it.

I watched the last two hours and Ingram didn’t look in trouble at any stage. Would like to have seen a replay of his dismissal. I don’t think he was happy.

Yep it’s just over 100 for a full day’s tour of the island. We want to do a jungle trip. We were thinking of Hong Kong but Singapore seemed the easier route back from Bali

We are staying for ten nights in Seminyak and want to do a couple of trips to Ubud. The trip is incredibly good value for money.
