All the best Mad As Fish. As always this board is as it’s best for stuff like this.
  2. Re: Film 2021 - Did We Have One Of These Threads? Can't Find It, So.....

My Octopus Teacher. A beautiful and lovingly made documentary. Really enjoyed it.
  3. Re: Film 2021 - Did We Have One Of These Threads? Can't Find It, So.....

That’s a shame because it’s a good film. The irony being as we were watching it last night news was breaking about the passing of Ramsey Clark who came across as one of the good guys.

    Re: GLAMMY

I think itís five points for a draw. Would like to have seen Cooke declare when we were 350 ahead. In the scheme of things the worst we will get is a draw having outplayed Yorkshire. Loads of...

Re: What chance now of making the playoffs?

Cardiff’s season is done and I don’t think Reading are far behind.
  8. Re: Film 2021 - Did We Have One Of These Threads? Can't Find It, So.....

Just watched The Trial of the Chicago Seven. It was excellent.
  9. Re: Film 2021 - Did We Have One Of These Threads? Can't Find It, So.....

Peanut Butter Falcon was enjoyable. If you liked that take a look at Captain Fantastic.
  10. Re: Film 2021 - Did We Have One Of These Threads? Can't Find It, So.....

Watched the Netflix short film Two Distant Strangers last night. Based upon the George Floyd/ police racism. Only 32 minutes long but it was pretty good.

    Re: Watford v Reading

We are likely to be five points off the play offs by Friday night. We are looking close to being out of it. We have to beat Cardiff or it’s season over.

    Re: Duke of Edinburgh dies

I dunno. I suspect a significant majority would have taken an interest and been saddened by him dying. Frankly I couldn’t care a toss. I haven’t complained to the BBC about their totally over the top...

    Re: GLAMMY

I was watching pre lunch and surprised they didn’t come off for the rain. Hope the weather doesn’t spoil this. Even with the pitch becoming flatter I would fancy us getting a few wickets after tea...

161/4 at lunch. An excellent morning and with a 298 lead we are well on top. Bat for another session and with a 400 lead we would be well set

    Re: GLAMMY

Root and Cooke did well to see that out. A lead of 205 is good but we really could do with setting at least 300 and ideally a fair few more.

193 a/o. Really outstanding effort. Today will run on until around 7pm so still plenty of play today but with a lead of 137 we have a real chance here. Important to try and bat for a day if possible...

167/8. Now his is where we usually struggle. Would be good to knock them over quickly and have a big lead on first innings.
