You do realise I/We have opened up a can of worms here !! Let the pun begin.
  3. Re: Come on. Hands up. Whos willing to admit they were wrong

As much as I enjoyed Warnock being our manager, you felt it was all about him; what he had achieved, the number of promotions, how he was perceived by opposition fans etc etc. MM doesn't seem that...
  4. Re: Justice For Daphne Caruana Galizia At Last

Possibly true but it's worth going to those places because of the sights. The Egyptian Museum is awe-inspiring and Paris has ummm ....... the Euros 2016 ! What a memory.

    Re: Lennon Gone

A perfect opportunity for us to sign him up as Terry Connor's replacement on the coaching staff

Lennon & McCarthy, I like the sound of that. And they'd work Eight Days a Week.
  6. Re: Justice For Daphne Caruana Galizia At Last

Sliema was the first place I ever visited abroad, back in 1980. To this day I still find the Maltese to be amongst the most friendly people I've ever met and I've travelled a lot since then.

Re: What have you learned this week?

A member of the dog family, we caught a fox having a dump on my lawn yesterday and he really was facing north at the time. Any more nuggets I should be aware of ?

Did you plant a bug in my house last night ?!

You seem to have covered most of the conversation I had with the missus, from he shouldn't even be working the case right through to his daughter...

    Re: Neil Harris...an appreciation thread

It will be interesting what effect Lee Tomlin will have for us for the remainder of the season, providing of course he can get match fit and avoid injuries.

Replacing Harry Wilson for the last 20...

He was excellent in Murphy"s Law and I thought the first episode of Bloodlands last night was superb. Really looking forward to the rest of the series.

Re: Bristol City appoint Korean manager

Thought they would have had enough of Korean managers after getting rid of Lee Jon Sun.

Still, Lee Gwun Soon is next in line for them.

Re: What have you learned this week?

If Arsenal lose all their remaining games they'll have an identical record to us when we were last relegated from the
    PL - W10 D4 L24.

    City Goalscorers

Not sure if it's already been mentioned but in the seven games that MM has been in charge we have had 9 different goalscorers, 10 if you include Flint's og against Millwall.

    This must be some kind...

    Re: Kiefer Moore

My mate is a Yeovil ST holder too but he doesn't share your mate's view of Keiffer. He said he was an absolute donkey for them, a judgment cemented by KM missing a sitter against Man Utd in the cup....

    Re: Merseyside derby

Just watching MOTD day now. Anybody else noticed the physical similarities between Richarlison and our own Jay Bothroyd ? They even have that same languid movement when they run with the ball. It's a...

  22. Re: Your highest / lowest scores game for a laugh

Goals in a game - 3 (Civil Service League)
    Tries - None
Highest Cricket Score - Low 20's batting at 10 or 11
    Quite a few 5fers too

  24. Re: The night Whitts showed he was something special.

That 4th goal is one of my favourite ever City goals. The movement that led up to it was so smooth, just like watching Man City ! How we never got promoted with that side is a mystery but maybe the...

    Re: I never knew that

And more importantly, it can never be beaten. After us with 14 appearances come a little known Spanish team called Barcelona with 13.

    Fame at last !

Definitely a "Did you know" masterpiece.
