    Re: GLAMMY

This has been a very disappointing batting effort although the decision against Cooke was very poor as it was clearly going down leg side.

Same with Reading too but both our sides played much changed sides tonight. Probably happen again next season.

Fair enough. I don’t care about this Cup. Far more bothered about winning on Saturday than tonight.

Nothing to see here. Nine Championship clubs played lower division sides tonight all nine ( including Reading) lost.
    Who cares?

..which is why a lot of us are so critical because this competition was not necessary. Just promote and fund T20 properly and with some BBC coverage as well you would see T20 rise significantly.

I couldn’t care less about this. Welsh Fire my arse. Not a single Welsh player or Glammy player in the squad.
    Welsh in name only.

    Re: Just got back…..

Hugely gifted but badly underachieves. We bought him for around £3 million from Liverpool a couple of years ago having spent 1:5 seasons on loan. Great feet but tends to slow the game down or try and...

    Re: Pearcey?

Moore is on around £35k a week. The positive is that his contract expires at end June. Rumoured we are trying to pay him off so that he becomes a free agent. He has lost his way in the last couple of...

    Re: Just got back…..

Shades of John Swift here. Swift didn’t like to tackle or track back and it is noticeable how much more physical we now look in midfield. Yet he could create something out of nothing with a pass.

  16. Re: Perfect start, but cheap penalty changes the game as Cardiff slip to deserved defeat.

Not a fan of Tim Dellor then Tim. Have to say he is pretty awful and the Alan Partridge of football commentary but on rare occasions when we score a really good goal his voice goes really high...

    Re: Just got back…..

Odd that Morison doesn’t rate Colwill as he surely suits the passing style he wants the team to play. He looked a cut above in the April fixture. He needs to be playing to press his Wales claims too.

Re: Steve Morison’s post Reading comments

I didn’t think we had a hope in hell today. The injuries are ridiculous but the players that are not injured are really fit as we started pre season early. That helps.

I think Morison is right. It is early days but it does look like a very even League.

Moore went on loan to Stoke in January but got injured and is out for at least two more months. We desperately want him off the books because his wages are huge. That’s part of the problem. No one...

    Re: Just got back…..

We showed more fight and guts in that game than any home game throughout last season. We only had ten senior outfield players fit for this game and brought on three teenagers in the second half.

There was a limited improvement under him last season but certainly nothing to write home about.
I can see him being very defensive with the press as the season unwinds.

    Re: Pearcey?

We have owners with deep pockets but we have a strict transfer embargo and cannot spend more than £16 million on wages which is why we are trying to offload Moore and Puscas. We can only sign loanees...
