    Re: Foodies Festival

"street food" is one of those words used to eke money out of easily led middle class people.

These kind of places are so corporate and sanitised nowadays. It's quite mad how much things have...

Re: Eurovision Tonight . MOTD on BBC2 .

People don't have to like her or her stance on issues do they?
  5. Re: Microchips in Humans - was this always going to happen?

I'm half your age more or less, and increasingly jealous of people who grew up at such a time.

Yeah whatever the rights and wrongs of the wider issues I thought she was treated very badly and handled herself with a lot of grace

    Re: Bundesliga 2

St Pauli promoted! Congratulations to them and those who follow them on here.

Depending on what happens with the play offs and if Koln stay up, I make it that 2.Bundesliga could have eight 50,000+...

Re: Eurovision Tonight . MOTD on BBC2 .

I love Eurovision. It's great harmless camp entertainment and good fun, coupled with a bit of geeky statistical politics at the end.

I think they do need to remember its family viewing though. The...

Re: Burnley relegated, Luton as good as down

Ths was going to be my question.

No doubt it will lead to concerns that the gap between the divisions is growing, although people have been saying that for 30 years
  10. Re: Corbyn Was More Principled Than Sir Bier Canute

I didn't know you never voted Conservative. Why haven't you mentioned this before?
  11. Re: Corbyn Was More Principled Than Sir Bier Canute

Not by your ramblings I'm not!

Nah I think the name is so random I found it quite funny.

    Sir Bier Canute 🤣
  12. Re: Corbyn Was More Principled Than Sir Bier Canute

Dunno why but Sir Bier Canute has really tickled me today.

I think it's a brilliant name and should stay

Re: Another Tory MP defects to Labour.

I think it's pretty funny. For years I've been saying there is no major policy or morality differences between the parties and this only helps to prove it.

Re: Another Tory MP defects to Labour.

Any of the Labour left not happy may be interested to know there is now a vacancy in the Workers Party of Britain that Monty Panesar has now left behind.

Honestly, what a mad world we live in 🤣

Re: Another Tory MP defects to Labour.

    More or less, yeah.

Although the whole left/right is obviously over simplistic, generally speaking she would have been way down anyone's list.

Lots in Labour a bit miffed it seems.

Re: Climate fanatics - where are you

Im quite critical of the way a lot of environmental policy is implemented and I think many Green parties have gone a bit mad which isn't helpful, but it's hard to argue with these figures isn't it?
