Re: Omari Benjamin released by Arsenal

Aye, but we are talking about his brother for City's U18, not Rabbi at Rangers.

On Rabbi though, he has done ok with Rangers this season, coming off the bench quite a bit - 6 goals and 3 assists...

Re: Omari Benjamin released by Arsenal

This is a hill I am willing to die on - that Etete has all of the attributes to become a top top striker... if managed right and probably needs a loan to league one as a part of his development.

Re: Omari Benjamin released by Arsenal

Purse did say they were actively looking at players around this age group to join the U21's. As a number of U21's have now advanced to the first team squad and some being released, the U21's has been...
  8. Re: Greatest Band/Group……..Got to Be……

I think we can all agree that, despite a few good bands and tunes, britpop was without question one of the worst things that happened to the British music scene. It was a vacuous and rancid era for...
  9. Re: Greatest Band/Group……..Got to Be……

If i look at the music and bands which I have been into most, I would have to say that the most influential band on them, and therefore me, has to be the velvet underground. Very underrated as an...

Re: Cameron Jerome, age 37, still going

    Good for him.

I never understood the criticism he got from some of our fans.

To still be playing at 37 at that level is amazing.

In his prime, a complete striker - skill, pace, strong &...

    Re: Worst free kick ever?

Its one of the most incredible things I've ever seen on a football pitch. My brother described it before i watched it.. I didn't believe it was possible.

He isn't going to be winning club players...

    Re: Arsenal.

I dont have particularly strong opinions on who i want to win the title, probably arsenal to break the city monopoly, but that game was absolute dogshite. A billion passes with about 3 shots. I guess...

    Re: Is there a cure......?

Never supported anyone else, 35+ years and no sign of a cure, it's a long, terminal, painful disease.

But the occasional bouts of joy and hope make it worthwhile, or that's what i keep telling...
  17. Re: Bulut takes a swipe at Page and Ramsey considers retiring from International football

    Page messed up.

If he didn't think Ramsey was fit enough to play any part of the last 2 games, don't pick him (he can still be with the team as the captain), and instead pick Colwill.

    To pick...

    Re: Season Ticket Info

These are decent prices, no complaints really.

However, the club do need to communicate their plans for the summer, starting with if the manager will be staying on. While that wouldn't impact...

    Re: Is Paul Merson Right?

Gambling can certainly be addictive and any addiction is a condition, not a choice. Merson is 100% correct and has the lived experience to prove it.

Football demonising and banning players for...

Re: And it's goodnight from me

Sad to hear that Eric, you'll be missed.

I was one of the 'early adopters' when I joined the board way back when.

Now, I dip in and out and try not to get involved into too many arguments.

Re: The end of Mauve and Yellow Army.

    Great news.

Maybe we don't say it enough, but many of us really appreciate your writing Paul and glad you will carry on, despite the desperate football and technical issues.

  24. Re: I enjoyed last season way more than this season

    It really is shocking Eric.

We have scored ZERO goals on the break.

Absolutely shocking and shows the lack of pace in the side... how is turnbull gonna help with that?
  25. Re: I enjoyed last season way more than this season

I really disliked Warnock but even I have to admit (apart from his final season) at least there was some excitement and we had a bit of pace about us.
