    Re: In a final farewell from Caerdydd

    No speeding fines since 2006, then 2 in a week, £9 for speeding in the roadworks Berlin Autobahn, the £95 for speeding in the roadworks around Antwerp. Bit imbalanced!

    Re: FT: NOTTINGHAM FOREST 1 - 2 CARDIFF CITY.

    60 minutes of mediocrity, 30 minutes of excellence. Now I remember why I’m addicted. Moore with Harris & Colwill either side, Forest couldn’t cope. Great to see the kids getting a chance & taking...

    Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

    Too deep, too predictable, too slow.

    Re: NOTTINGHAM FOREST v CARDIFF CITY. Match thread

    First 45 I’ve seen this season and it doesn’t look like I’ve missed anything.

    Nothing to offer any excitement or enthusiasm. Looks like we’re playing for long throws and corners.

    Why the hell...

    Re: Taffy was a Welshman

    You missed the first & most common verse.

    Taffy was a Welshman, Taffy was a thief;
    Taffy came to my house and stole a leg of beef;
    I went to Taffy's house and Taffy was in bed;
    I upped with the...

    Re: Taffy was a Welshman

    The point came about when one of my Polish colleagues asked why I was called Taffy & he googled it. Obviously not good PR :-)

    Taffy was a Welshman

    My nickname since primary school in the 60s has been Taff, life long friends know me as Taff, I probably say some people don’t know my actual Christian name.

    Re: Welshman summarising the England game ?

    Thank feck they weren’t good enough for England, otherwise Wales Euro 2016 wouldn’t have happened. Greatest victory in Wales history all 3 goals scored by not good enough Englishmen. How do you sleep...
  15. Re: Priti Patel issues orders to turn them boats around

    It’s a PR exercise, she’s got no power to turn them back in International waters. The French will not stop them leaving their waters and once they're over the dotted line they’re the UKs...

  18. Re: International football: Wales/Cymru v Finland, Belarus and Estonia

    I did try to edit this but left it too long. I’ve seen the Wiki page that surge linked and understand the format, the final venue being the luck of the draw is harsh, better to have all Finals at...

    Re: Benjamin Mandy.

    This, it’s a major flaw in the justice system. He’s now guilty in the minds of the majority, compounded by the media and that can never be retracted.
