Re: Concerts that rocked your world?

Has to be Bruce Springsteen at Wembley Stadium in the 80s, think it was his Born In The USA tour, best performance I have ever seen by a mile.
  2. Re: Modern Stadium moves that worked and didn't

I have been to every Premier League ground and I can say that facility wise our Cardiff City Stadium is up there with the best. Atmosphere wise remember the Leicester play off semi final, that was...
  3. Re: Wembley disappointments - which would you change?

I think winning the FA Cup in 2008, after watching us go through in the QF at Boro and then the semi against Barnsley it would have been a fitting end to that season if we had lifted the cup. I have...

    Re: Season tickets out Wednesday

You're not doing a very good job of selling this to me! All joking aside, it's crazy that we could pay out hundreds of pounds of our hard earned cash and not get to see any games! Might need a...
  6. Re: Premier League/Championship since the restart

Surely to God home advantage only means anything if you've got the home fans supporting you? Without fans football is meaningless anyway. I can't stand watching any more games without fans.

    Re: The return of football

As already said football without fans is nothing so I won't be watching. Just the way I feel.

Re: Other Clubs You've Got A Soft Spot For.

Heart Of Midlothian, no Scottish connections just love the fact they hate Celtic and love their maroon and white, their badge and their passion. Also not forgetting the way they have been relegated...
  9. Re: How will you be changing how you live in the next three weeks?

Totally agree with you TOBW;there could not have been a more confusing message sent out than BJ's speech to the nation yesterday. Why the hell did they drop the Stay At Home slogan and replace it...
  10. Re: If next season is behind closed doors would you still buy

I respect your views and it may be the only revenue stream coming in to keep clubs going but I will not be paying to watch any games televised without crowds. I know you don't go to a normal game to...
  11. Re: If next season is behind closed doors would you still buy

So you are prepared to pay to watch games without any fans in attendance in the stadiums, would be like watching a training match.
  12. Re: Will we be able to go another City game in 2020?

[QUOTE=A Quiet Monkfish;5069983]Even if games went ahead I wouldn't pay to watch football behind closed doors, and I doubt 90% would either. No income whatsoever coming in - football clubs -...
  13. Re: Will we be able to go another City game in 2020?

I am with you on that Tony, not worth the risk for us over 60s. Terry
  14. Re: When football returns........................

I agree with this, and I predict that we won't be stepping back into Cardiff City Stadium for many months from now and many of our elderly following probably won't return. The risks outweigh the joy.

    Re: When Football resumes..

This is the only sensible option in my opinion, each team retains the points they had gained and start new season with them, no promotions or relegations this season.

Re: Your ideas about completing seasons

Can't realistically see the remaining games being completed so fairest thing to do is declare this season null and void with no promotions or relegations, each team remains in it's current division...

Re: Stoke on Saturday - where to go before

Last time I went by train was for an F.A. Cup tie there many years ago and we were met on the station platform by the Staffordshire Constabulary handing out Welcome to Stoke leaflets which directed...

    Re: The Canton Stand

No Canton Stand Singers = NO atmosphere whatsoever. I would love this not to be the case and if the other stands put as much effort into singing as the Canton does then it wouldn't be. I do accept...
  21. Re: The early hours/middle of the night bladder club

I am 62 mate and have had to put up with this for years. It doesn't get any better and seems to make no difference whether you have drunk a few pints or none! I also cannot get back to sleep once I...

    Re: Any thoughts on this?

Absolute naivety, may have got away with it if he wasn't wearing City colours and kept a low profile, no sympathy.
