Ward-Prowse should have put them 1 up with their first meaningful attack. Straight at their 'keeper from 8 yards. Haven't really created much apart from that really.

Look the real deal and everyone seems to know their jobs .

Maybe my expectations of what to expect have been lowered by watching us .Originally Posted by Daniel15 wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 16:53
Two good footballing teams for sure. Southampton are very attack minded. Joy to watch. Absolutely incomprehensible to think we went there 9 months ago and won.Originally Posted by bluethrough wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 16:58
An hour gone and Capt Collossus has yet to win a header, or make a tackle despite being under the cosh for most of the game!
His "air shot" in the 1st half should have given the Saints their opening goal too. He's hoofed lots of clearances away though, Niall Quinn will prob give him MOTM for that

It feels set up for Swansea to knick a goal and Southampton not to be able to respond.
This Was my fav moment so far 😄Originally Posted by GRUMPYS DEN wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 17:26
"Williams to the rescue yet again for Swansea" was the last thing the commentator just said.
He's doing well.
Now you've done it...Originally Posted by Thames Valley Bluebird wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 17:32
No headers or tackles though just yet.Originally Posted by Thames Valley Bluebird wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 17:32
Two decent sides who have spent a number of years developing a style of play that suits them.
Well organised, neat passing but perhaps tonight lacking a little bit of a cutting edge.
Come on Southampton, could go either way though.
Now Swansea one-up.
"Heroic once more from Williams"
"Ashley Williams has been absolutely brilliant for Swansea"
It's really weird this thing you've got against Ashley Williams
I know he's a jack but he's a good player and Wales are better for having him.
1_0 jacks quack quack oopsOriginally Posted by bluethrough wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 16:51
@paddypower: According to my calculations, if Ashley Williams wasn't playing today, Southampton would be winning 17-1.
It's been a poor Saints performance, from what I've seen.Originally Posted by Thames Valley Bluebird wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 17:43
They're calling it a MOTM performance on the telly over here.
Williams Mom by a distance great performance.
And over here 😄Originally Posted by NYCBlue wrote on Sun, 01 February 2015 17:49
