Cruel really - but at least this will stop talk of the play offs. No doubt we are improving though - in spite of the result. THE BOOING AT THE END WAS NOT CALLED FOR.Originally Posted by surge wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 16:54

54% possession thou'
shame...
Two excellent late substitutions by Slade.
Our home form is pretty abysmal. We sit back and invite teams on once leading
If you want to cheer yourself up then look at Derby Brum today. Derby going top of the league with a 2 point gap by leading against a side who hadn't had a shot on target, into injury time and they throw a 2 goal lead away.
The top 7 are separated by 5 points!
We have played much worse than that and won this season. I do not feel that we should be too harsh on anybody really. Sometimes the gods are against you.Originally Posted by surge wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 17:02
Jason Perry thinks Whittingham was our best player, and the period he went off to clean up some blood has ultimately cost us the game
And over here in sweden, Berget and eikrem are knocking 'em left right and center
McAleny was our best player. Slade substituted him. Whittingham was most certainly not our best player. By dropping Ralls and putting Whittingham straight back into the starting XI, Slade has sent a terrible message to the squad at large!
And if that's the biggest criticism of him today then he can walk away reasonably happy about his own performance.Originally Posted by Aprhys wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 17:29

I never boo, I'm usually gone by 85 minutes

Better all round performance than the wolves match.
Went one up then sat back and invited pressure on to us rather than going for the second killer goal.
Inevitable outcome with the tempo lost and the blame must be aimed solely at Slade.
He is seemingly incapable of motivating the players.
Out of his depth and a bizarre appointment by a club newly relegated from the premiership , and presumably with ambitions to get back there.
A car crash decision made by a chairman totally lacking in his understanding of football.
We reap what we sow.
Slade's in a position where until (correction, unless) he goes on a winning run every minor mistake will be considered bigger because of what has come before. Not many wanted him in the first place, though there weren't many giving valid reasons for that, and everything has run on from there. Our performance up until our goal justified his initial selection but you'll still see many posts complaining about bringing back Whitts and Noone.
If being the best player is passing sideways and backwards no further than 5yds a time then i agree. But he offers absolutely nothing except dead ball kicks which many players can do anyway, as Ralls did in midweek.Originally Posted by Daniel15 wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 17:12
I agree with this all of us going back to the pub were in agreementOriginally Posted by Sky High Bluebird wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 18:04
The booing at the final whistle was uncalled for in my opinion though as I thought the players generally played well. I can't see how it helps anyone to do this.Originally Posted by Sloop_Jon_Bee wrote on Sat, 07 March 2015 17:53
