    England v Australia

Aussies win toss and bat. Watson out for another Mitchell...

Conveniently have a work lunch in Maida Vale today, hopefully there's a late gate after tea...

    Re: England v Australia

In work at moment so not watching but is it a good batting wicket? If so I wonder if Boycott will criticise the wicket like he did at Cardiff?

They should stop taking the Ashes to places like Lord's if that's the kind of pitch they're going to produce.

You really look forward to a sporting day as the Open and the Lords test starts and they both turn put to be complete anti climaxes because the course/ground they are playing on is weighted against an even contest - both of them can improve over the next few days, but that didn't half look a flat, flat wicket yesterday.

England will probably lose as many wickets today as Australia have.

Yes my thoughts indeed, the commentators ramble on about gods ground, "" tally ho " lets be fair the last two ashes games at Cardiff have made for cracking fan viewing , wonderful atmospheres , yes we don't serve Port and Stilton , however we like do have Stilton with cider, and you can sail to the ground and find a boozer in minutes , toffy nosed buggers

England will have to bat for at least an hour tonight, and I expect us to lose 2 or 3 wickets. Hope I'm wrong. For me the Aussies are nailed on to win this test.
