Good evening Hubert.
That was hilarious.Els has been such a fine player but he is past his best and putting on a bit of weight.
To miss that first putt was bad enough but jeez he certainly compounded it.

Never, ever in my worst moments at Llandaff Fields pitch and putt course in the 70s did I do anything as bad as that and I was pretty hopeless.
I don't follow golf quite as closely as I once did, so that's why I wasn't aware of Els' putting problems this year. Apparently, he's struggled to adjust back to using a shorter putter after having one of the, now banned, belly putters for years - under the circumstances, he did very well to get around in 80.
They weren't even Dennis Wise's ('nasty little 5 footer').
Suspect on the golfing circuit, a 2 footer will now be named an 'Ernie Els.'
Sad to see-but all credit to him for his resilience.
