The Lex signing got me thinking, could Lex be the outfield leader we need? Is Lex the type to motivated and organise the players around him? Or is there anyone else in our current squad who can step up and be the vocal leader we need? Any future captains? Or do we still need look to sign an outfield leader?

Thanks Gabbs. That's great that Lex was rated at Feyenoord enough to be captain.

Having a manager/head coach change allows for us to change captain without it being such a fuss. Though perhaps it's alright for Marshall to keep the armband so long as during games someone in outfield is chipping in too. Though the odds of Marshall leaving this window are high.

Would be a good candidate -leads by example and seemed to quickly get the respect of his teammates.

Yeah I thought the same on the team mate respect thing. I guess that comes easier when you're the best player in the team. So please with the signing.
