Not sure what's worse, our fans thinking we are in with a shout of getting Rodgers or some of our fans saying no to Rodgers because he isn't good enough.

Don't particularly rate im that highly either way, yeah he won promotion but so have loads of other managers who've gone onto nothing. He was just lucky that Liverpool fell for his Brentspeak.

Players getting accepted are different to managers(and Legg wasn't at first , not sure about James was to young to remember ) . The club need an appointment from the start that fans will get on board with otherwise it will be Slade all over again

Rodgers did a pretty decent job at Swansea but hasn't done much else.
Our wide midfield play would be terrific. There's never been a right winger like Hitler.
Cashing in on Martinez success? Actually, given Martinez record since Swansea that's a bit of a dull statement for me to make!
I'm not sure it's that dull the style Martinez had them playing was certainly carried onwards at Swansea after he left. Rodgers did well to complete the job. At Watford he got them to 13th, was sacked at Reading adter 6 months and was found out at Liverpool without Suarez. I'm not sure why people think he is so great.

Didn't they finish second as well, which Cardiff manager has achieved that?
I think that everyone recognises, as one of the posts on here says, that he got lucky with inheriting Suarez (a genuine world class player who was at Liverpool way before Rodgers was) and that when Suarez left Rodgers was lost in his own management double speak.
If anything he should be condemned for letting the Premiership slip from their grasp when it was theirs to lose. Which they promptly did.
And he's got no top lip
