    Brexit Bigots ?

    Re: Brexit Bigots ?

I think it's a diversionary tactic used by the media in order orchestrate a 2nd referendum. I believe the real issue is national sovereignty v globalization, but they cannot say that. The media are liars and they have been spinning the referendum from day 1.

When you say 'the media', I assume you mean parts of the media? The Mail and The Sun probably don't want a second referendum.

This issue was sovereignty v globalization pretty clear in the campaign though no? And a strong argument was made. I understand why Brexiters felt so passionately about this.

But Murdoch was the difference for the end result. Had he backed the remain campaign the result would be quite different I believe. I cannot agree that the media are unanimously one sided. The BBC's remit is to be impartial and they were. So the most potent force in the UK is Uncle Rupert. If the free market media were dominating one direction, I would argue that it was in support of Brexit.

Perhaps a lot of Brexiters kept their views to themselves for fear of being labelled bigots. The irony highlighted in the article makes a good point on this. But lets be honest, while there are a lot of smart and righteous voices in the Brexit camp, there is a chunk of the Brexit vote share who's motivation has nothing to do with sovereignty v globalization. The press an the public should not be gagged and prevented from pointed this very obvious point out.

As for Murdoch, the Sun supported Brexit and the Times supported Remain. Now we see Murdoch supporting Gove. Murdoch couldn't lose either way. Wake up, it's all a game. And the BBC are not impartial, it just seems like they are.

Both sides used the policy of fear so demonizing only one camp is not fair

It's all orchestrated, it's not random events. Everything has been scripted.

Between the neo-conservatives and fabian socialists we are fecked, they both have the aim of destroying the traditional working classes in favour of big business and the elites. They have got it all mapped out, that's why voting Labour/Conservative or Democrat/Republican doesn't mean anything, you just get more of the same.
