Welsh pubs in / near Central London

The Missus is there Wednesday night and she's asked if there are any Welsh pubs near Covent Garden.

I know people always mention the Famous Three Kings and the London Welsh club has been brought up too as a possible venue.

Any others spring to mind? I guess the Irish pubs will be good for Welsh atmosphere?

Bit far out for her I think. Unless it's a few tube stops? There is a tube stop behind the F3K isn't there?

    West Kensington.

She won't need a sherpa to lead her there.

Went to the Welsh Centre on Friday night to watch the game and it was absolutely insane. Incredible atmosphere.

Quick look on their website/facebook and they're already sold out for Wednesday. Friday was sold out but I turned up about 7:30pm without a ticket, queued up in the returns queue, and got in with about a dozen others. If you don't get in there's a pub over the road which looked busy with a lot of fellow Welsh.

F3K is a good one - they even do Brains..

I watched the Russia game in the Porterhouse Covent Garden - not a bad venue, easy to get to also!

Where are the majority heading then?

I've left it too late for the Welsh Centre again but want to have pro-Welsh atmosphere.

The Porterhouse could be a good central option...
