Smith bowled just one ball and couldn't continue - I think there's a decent performer in all forms of the game there if we could get him on the pitch for any amount of time, but I think we're at the stage now where we should just assume he's not going to be playing and treat the rare occasions when he is as a bonus.
Provided Weighell wasn't injured, the fact he couldn't get into the team tells a story and I can only hope that it's Carey who comes in to replace Smith and not him because his bowling has been a liability.
Anyone going to watch the Hundred tonight?
