Great stuff. How many were there? I’m guessing circa 2000

About that aye, always find it hard to guess when you’re in amongst it and it’s concentrated in one area pretty much (Cathedral Road end and a small part of the grandstand, members area too).

Oh and make sure you take the old man with you.
Oh and wear the same clothes

Great stuff. I had a free ticket but couldn't get the day off.

Fantastic, well deserved win. Let’s hope they win the final on Thursday.

True enough but the traditionalist in me says the final should be at Lord’s and on a Saturday.

If they can dig up Peter West and Richie B to be part of the commentary team then even better.

Earlier you was a right misery saying it was all over after 20 overs.
Reverse psychology, worked pretty well in the end I’d say

A few paragraphs about Glamorgan at the end of my blog piece on the Under 23s win;-

Looks as if we’ll be facing Durham (who look to be very close to full strength to me - can’t think of many of their players in the Hundred) - they’re 173-1 chasing 281.

Has anyone told Selman you're suppose to miss the fielders when you hit the ball.
He is timing it well but hits the cover fielder every time.
22 from 51 balls is ridiculous
Hope he bats on and gets a big score now

    Re: GLAMMY

Glamorgan very much in this with the wickets in hand but they need to start finding the gaps and quickly.
    Disappointing but understandably small crowd.
Still say they should have found a gap in the schedule to play it at Lord’s ,on a Saturday, in front of a full house.

Kiran has really stepped on the accelerator here at the right time. He is often out when he starts to dominate though so just got to cross the fingers that he can make it through a few more overs to set us up nicely.

From my recollection the finals against Gloucester and Notts were nowhere near full houses but I take your point about a Saturday.

    157- 5 now

Selman, Root and Carlson all gone in quick succession. Carlson the real blow as he was playing very well

TV Replay shows that the ball for Root's LBW pitched outside leg stump but didn't review ( I presume reviews are allowed in the Royal London.

It was looking like they would get over 300. That will be a struggle now.

    Re: GLAMMY

They’ve all got out when an acceleration was on the cards. Slowed up trying to rebuild. Frustrating.

    Yep.
Now batting the overs out will be on the minds.

    Re: GLAMMY

Every time a partnership is building Durham take a wicket. Frustrating.
