Thread: Team GB Flag Bearer

    Team GB Flag Bearer

    Andy Murray.

Feel uncomfortable with that selection, as much as I admire Murray's achievements in Tennis, I'd barely describe him as an Olympian.

Wiggins didn't want it, said "a woman rider" should do it. So that worked out well.

Maybe they thought it was a euphemism.

No, a British Gold and Silver medal Olympian can hardly be described as an Olympian at all can he.

What would you describe him as? seeing that this will be his third Olympics and he is a double medal winner.

Well he's won three grand slams and an Olympic gold and silver without his mum carrying his racket.

Everything on Twitter is pointing towards Andy Murray being a Mossad plant in the opening ceremony.

    the

If you want to watch a load of junkies parading around in track suits, just go to Splott.

I can't believe people still give a shit about Druggie's Sports Day.

It has been proven over and over to be an absolute sham, now it's a corporate political, sham.

I have a very good friend who is flying to Rio tomorrow to watch his daughter compete.

Hopefully, she will win a medal. At least I know she will be clean.

I am absolutely not trying to be contentious here, but we know that it is rife within sport, and its not something that athletes seek to draw attention towards. Subterfuge is the very nature of it. How can you know for sure that she will be clean?

Naturally, I wish your friends daughter the very best.

He could make an awful lot more but not for him making commercials or becoming a walking advertisement for corporations prepared to shovel money his way. He seems to have much integrity in other respects too.

The Olympic Corinthian ethos disappeared many years ago.

He doesn't know of course. He makes posts like that just waiting for someone to challenge it so he can be "outraged".

Professional Tennis should not be an Olympic sport.....I would have chosen Nicola Adams because she is a true Amateur which is what the Olympics was all about not so long back.
