No surprise. I loved Ricky Gervais on the office and the xfm radio shows but he's gone down hill very fast ever since.
The guy used to be self aware but now he's a self indulgent arsehole

First time I've been to the cinema for a long time, and naively expected a funny well thought out film about a band and their amusing exploits on tour, what I got was different:
A Bit of the office
and three jokes they laboured:
The band didn't like the lead singer
The lead singer had to drive to gigs, instead of travelling on the tour bus
Some of the lyrics were almost funny
In a word - Rubbish !
No surprise. I loved Ricky Gervais on the office and the xfm radio shows but he's gone down hill very fast ever since.

Everyone I know that's seen it said it was superb
Also extremely well received by critics
As for 'One Trick Pony' .... lol
It isn't the sort of film I'd go to watch in the pictures, I think this sort of film is probably better enjoyed at home. Saw the Eddie the Eagle film at home recently enjoyed it too, but if I'd just spent 20 quid for me and my Mrs I think I'd have been disappointed.
Spent £4 to watch it in town and it was a very pleasurable experience.
If you don't like the office don't bother.
