Was our pre season build up to blame?

I don't think we had a good pre season proper workout this year compared to what we are used to in previous years.
The opposition teams were very poor (Not including Bournemouth) and what with that other one game being called off and then only playing a shorter match time game.
I don't think the players are fit enough and it's now showing.
Definitely think we are paying for not getting in a good proper build up.
Lots of players missed pre season as well if I remember right?

I also thought the selection of pre-season games was poor and I am sure the games didn't do much to test out Trollope's preferred system.

That said, the players were supposed to be in the best physical shape that they had been for some time. The problem we are seeing now, is, fit or not, our squad just doesn't possess the same amount of pace and zip as others in the Championship.

Last 10 minutes several of our players looked out on their feet ?
Odd, maybe the effects of 2 long away trips, but still you'd expect better.

Worrying a little that things aren't right in the background, hope it's not another case of poor discipline or drinking culture

Our Pre-season looked a Joke....our players now look like a 30 min team.
