Have I missed some news? Have we offered Morrison a contract? Is he even a registered Cardiff City player? I agree they're taking the piss today.

Think all of this talk of embargoes makes it even more likely we’ll sign Morison on a contract - always assuming we can.

I don't know how it works. Maybe there's a loophole to be exploited? Agree we'll likely sign him now.

Using the u21s to give the first team squad some match time, certainly.

    The ages of the starting 11: Luthra (20), Campbell (21), Bagan (21), Morrison (31), Nelson (29), Sang (23), Philogene (20), Colwill (20), Crole (18), Davies (21), Tanner (20).

I do find it kind of hilarious seeing a 31 year old in an U21 match though. Legal or not!

Think they need to be twenty one or under at the start of the season, so that team is okay if the same rules apply.

    1-0 at half time.

Excellent free kick by Ruben. 1 nil City. Strong team and decent game.

    Great minds.

Quite a few 'first teamers' playing: Colwill, Davies, Morrison, Sang and Philogene.

We can see how much we have been missing Morrison at corners and free kicks. Sunderland can't handle him.
Not so sure about him in defence though. Still looks sluggish.

    He can barely move

That's what I was thinking. Looks to be carrying a bit of extra weight and looks sluggish. He got on the end of three crosses into the opposition box but no real end product.

I didn’t think he was carrying weight but certainly sluggish, I think he’s some months off it yet sadly.

Thought Tanner looked decent. I was hoping to see more from Bagan today.

That was not an own-goal. Crole clearly got a foot to it.

Colwill with a Whitts like free kick puts us one up. Bit like watching the first team on Saturday until then, plenty of chances, but no finish.

Clever free kick. Everyone was expecting the cross, including the keeper.

I think the embargo has been the reason why we have been seeing so much of him in recent weeks. As an out of contract player we will be able to sign him.

Only place for him I guess seeing as there's no reserves anymore

2-0, Crole cages in on a poor back pass.

Colwill seemed to be playing far more centrally than he does for the firsts.
