Part of the Wales u17 squad that beat Israel 2-1 today in their warm up for the UEFA Elite Round in March when they'll be playing Iceland, Scotland & Montenegro, should they top the group then they'll be going to the u17s Euros in the summer

8 City players in the squad

Answering your question THC it’s not exactly how Rubin did but what he was allowed to do.
He’ll be the first to admit that he’s not has the best of seasons
Unfortunately he’s suffered several niggling injuries and is trying to get back to match fitness
He was only allowed to play the first sixty minutes yesterday

You’re correct, he hasn’t had the best of his seasons but, ironically, this season has a memory for him that’ll be with him for life, playing against England in a World Cup Finals.

Was it that one sided or are the highlights a bit biased?

I’ve seen the highlights on our website as well because the same thought occurred to me - it was that one sided.

Great pace from Wigley and a nice composed finish

Watching that I still have no idea why we signed Antwi or Daley-Campbell, and what's happened to Kristiansen (?) who was brought in under the bizarre pretence of adding experience?

Re: The Bluebirds Academy and DVP thread...

Seb Kristiensen has had personal troubles and unfortunately hasn’t played since the home win against Swansea last year.

Another defeat for the under 18s today, this one by 1-0 at Colchester.

    Poor result from the 18’s
They travelled up on the Friday and stayed overnight so no real excuses 😕

Sadly, at a level far below where h needs to be playing.

The loan only makes sense if he's still training with us.

Academy to focus on three key areas (Gavin Chesterfield):

'Technical Excellence', 'Physical Mutants' and 'Mentality Monsters'.

Will developing Mentality Monsters include Creativity Centaurs?

Put this along with some of the utterances of our previous two managers and City are storming away with the Football Gobbledygook League this season.

The under 21s are home to Millwall today with an earlier kick off time of midday - I presume it will be streamed.

I think he comes across well, those terms are being used with youngsters, it's a simple message to teach them to improve their physicality and mentality at an early age.

It’ll be sixty years since I saw my first City game in October and for fifty nine of them I’d say I was able to understand the large majority of what those in charge of the footballing side were talking about. Not this season though, although Lamouchi doesn’t English as his first language, I understand what he says - I couldn’t say that about Morison and Hudson for much of the time and, on that evidence, the same applies to Gavin Chesterfield.

could you genuinely not understand them, or are you just being obtuse?
