Is this working for anyone? I have still got the 'waiting' message over a screen with the club logos.

    Edit: now says 'match delayed'

Joel Colwill starts for the under 21s, no Ashford though.

I'd imagine Ashford's in the squad again then

I fear with Joel Colwill we've done the classic Cardiff City thing of leaving them in the u21s for too long - 19 now and 0 league appearances at any level

    19 definitely isn't too late

Not too late but hardly promising. At the same age Jordan James has nearing 100 Championship appearances, Rubin had about 40.

He's got a lot of competition ahead of him at the moment who Bulut clearly favours in Wintle, Ralls, Siopis, Turnbull and Sawyers. He's too good for u21s, why not let him go out on loan and gain some senior experience? That's where he'll learn now

Really nice placed finish from twenty yards by Troy Perrett minutes after he’d hit the post.

2 - 1 but foul not given in the build up.

The ref’s a clown, he’s been the best diver on the pitch.

Finished 2-1, City hanging on a bit at the end, but probably deserved the win.

The u18s played league leaders Bristol City today, they were 0-2 up at one stage but Bristol fought back to level, but Troy George got the winner in injury time, final score was Bristol 2-3 Cardiff

Tanner started today, his season has gone a bit pear-shaped.

He definitely peaked against the Jacks.

Well worked goal to win it.

It was wasn't it, made all the more impressive that it happened beyond the ninety minute mark having been 2-0 up after eighty four minutes - in a first team game, that free kick would have been stuck in the mixer under the same circumstances.

Not sure how up to date this table is (it says 24 January but it seems to have changed since I looked at it last week), but, apart from that strange 5-0 loss to Watford recently, City have been in great form after a poor start to the season - I've been thinking they've been in with a chance of making the Play Offs with a top two finish, but winning the division can't be ruled out.

Exactly this. I guess it's easier to do when you haven't got 20,000 people shouting 'don't f**k around with it, get it in there' after the first pass is rolled backwards but it's a terrific goal.

I mentioned this last year but I couldn't understand why the first team were rarely able to create overlaps, or even get a winger one on one with his full back, however much we switched play or got full backs forward at home. I know we build up too slowly most of the time but my eldest said it's also because we don't pose any kind of threat going down the middle so visiting sides can always spare men to cover out wide. Made sense to me and the winner here seems a good example of what we lack at first team level.

Once Twose (I think it's him) plays the give-and-go up the middle their left back has a problem. He knows Kpakio is outside him and looks at him a couple of times but feels he has to block the gap that Twose might run into which leaves Kpakio in space and the rest is shelling peas for us. Looks simple, seems simple, but the first team don't get behind opponents' backlines like that too often.
