Surely it can't ALL be Morisons fault?

I now people are pissed off with him but come on.

Bowen pulled out of a Wales u21 squad so may well be injured

Hasn't Ratcliffe been missing for a while?

Ratcliffe was sub for the Wales team beaten 5-1 by Switzerland during the break. From what I’ve seen of him and the two young keepers who came in last summer, Ratcliffe is the best of them, but you have to start wondering if he’s going to be here next season.

As I mentioned above, I was being sarcastic, they were down to the bare bones in midfield somewhat yesterday (Isaac Jefferies is more of a forward I believe, but didn’t do bad there) and I’d say Bowen wasn’t involved for one of two reasons, either he was still injured or, less likely for me, Morison had him training with the first team squad.

When the 12k wage cap and youngsters being released was doing the rounds Ratcliffe's name came up

I think it would be a real shame if Ratcliffe goes without ever getting a chance

I did eventually read your post explaining the sarcasm

The shame for me would be of they go without being given a chance, like the rest of the season we can literally give these lads a platform to showcase themselves, so it would be criminal if they end up out the door without getting an opportunity.

It was probably the best bit of play I’ve seen from Ligendza in the three or four years since I first saw him. I’d assumed he’d been released because I cannot remember seeing his name this season before yesterday, presumably he’s been injured.

I’ll make the usual qualification about the game at this level being more about development than points and it’s true to say that the team has changed almost completely from early in the season, but it will still be disappointing to miss out on our top two finish, as looks likely now, when you consider what the table looked like in early December.

1-0 City. Isaac Jeffries deflected shot. Good counter attack
