My comment was just to query your assertion that UK socialists give either major US party credence. The UK left will prefer Joe Biden and the Democrats to Donald Trump and the Republicans, but I have never seen much uncritical support for a party (the Democrats) that are funded by Wall Street, enthusiastically promote wars to defend the interests of the US financial and political elite, and are as corrupt as the other lot. There are some positives - Bernie Saunders, the Squad, tenuous links to the CIO-AFL, a more progressive policy position on the environment, welfare and work - but the Democrats are still a party that stands in practice for most things that UK socialists don't.
It depends on what shade of the Labour part there is in terms who they prefer however America is a right wing country with poor race relations , lack of respect for marginal minorities , happy to bomb and invade , both parties have poor records on womanising ,fraud ,deception , supporters of Israel yes that includes the Democrats .

So you have extreme right, right wing or lite right wing
