Be nice if every race was wet conditions, so we could get some actual racing and overtaking. Since they widened the cars and fattened the tyres, it's become even more of a procession than it's ever been. Whoever is in front at the first corner, wins the race.....unless something happens in the pits. It's amusing listening to the commentators try Thier hardest to convince the viewers, every race is super exciting, when even they know deep down, F1 has become the most boring motor sport, there is
Grosjean crashed ( oh look, another Grosjean crash ) because he went off the drier line and pressed the accelerator. Helmut Marko addressed Grosjean's record of crashing pretty well.
20 F1 cars on track would have cleared the standing water well enough for qualifying to have completed.
TL;DR Grosjean is a muppet who would crash even if riding a childs bike with stabilisers.
Hamilton proving again that he is the best driver in wet conditions. He once said it reminded him of go-carting in the rain because he could slide the car round the corner
At 150 ****ing MPH, he is insane!
And Vettel in sixth place. If it rains for the race it couldmake the next few races very interesting.
Not just rain though - given the amount of oil that can be burnt as fuel has been reduced, that'll affect Ferrari more than Mercedes. Mercs voluntarily abided by the new limit last race, Ferrari didn't - and Hamilton still won. Ferrari had at least a 5s advantage over the race by doing that.
