With the help of supporters they have replaced 10,000 “pink” seats.

What the hell did they make the old seats out of? Bakelite?

    Re: Sunderland

    Sun damaged I guess.

I hope this idea catches on for the upper Ninian as I would certainly help.

Quite like the contrast between blue / red, lower / upper Ninian myself.

Only a bitter fool would still be banging on about the red seats in the current climate.

I’m in the upper Ninian this season, I don’t care that my seat is red.

Better off covering them up for a few years they won't be filling the place anytime soon

The red seats doesn’t bother me , I think what Sunderland are doing shows the replacement can be undertaken relitavly cheaply that’s all.

    Re: Sunderland

When the game commences and the seats occupied the red will be invisible. Wasting scarce finances on blue seats would be utterly ludicrous. In fact if the club did that there would be even more complaints. Some supporters really need to get over it.l

I'm more concerned by the white seats in between the red ones. They look like pictures of sphincters.
