    I met er indoors 40 years ago, she was using frit then, although I'd not heard it in Cardiff before that, she still uses the word

    "Jolly" when used as an adjective being the sort of word that Old Etonian toffs like Johnson come out with - I doubt if I've ever been in a conversation where someone has used it in my life.

    Interesting use of the word 'mardy'. It's normally followed by 'arse' not '2hat'. But language has to evolve.

    Does she also use 'nesh' (as in feels the cold), 'wazzack' (as in idiot boy), 'spice' (as in sweets) or 'snap' (as in packed lunch)?
