I think it’s a nailed on pen, he’s wrapped his arms right round him for a good 5 seconds. What is he even thinking doing that.
People say Salah went down easy but if you don’t go down the ref doesn’t give it.

It was a pen.
Morrison didn't need to put his arms all over Salah like that, despite some on this thread trying to argue that he had little choice with a smaller player backing up against him - you don't NEED to put your arms around a player like that!
The ref should have blown for a penalty well before Salah went to ground. He shouldn't have had to go to ground to make it obvious he was being fouled.
Agree with the majority on here - Morrison was silly to do what he did, knowing that most PL strikers (not just Salah) would do what Salah did. It's probably part of their training routine, how to execute the perfect not-too-obvious dive.
Can't remember specifically what happende, but just before the pen. Morrison got up off the ground and went storming back towards Sala. He had the proverbial 'red mist' and you could tell he was buzzing, rather than keeping his cool. Shame because he had a good game, along with the impressive Manga..
If it had been at the other end of the pitch we would have been screaming for a penalty.
Morrison, as MOD showed so clearly, had an awful few minutes during which he was clumsy at both ends of the pitch.
Salah dived. But there was a foul. Other end of the pitch Morrison is fouled doesnt dive and we dont get a pen.
Diving won the day.

100% a pen, the frustrating thing is the lack of consistency with those type of decisions. Morrison was being wrestled by 3 men most corners against Chelsea
It’s consistent.
Every time it’s a big6 against non big6 it’s given.
But the smaller teams appeals are waved away over and over again.
Yesterday the key point is this.
Atkinson did not give the penalty for Morrison’s arms on Salah. He gave it when Salah threw himself to the ground. He had ample time to give the penalty for holding but DID not.
I rest my case.
