I thought it was a lack of self-awareness at first to speak like that in front of the woman... but that bloke clearly just holds low-income families in contempt.

"The doors haven't been secure in 25 years!" What an aaaaabsolute c*nt.

Yet they will probably win a majority with that lying, cheating moron as PM. Let’s hope it doesn’t happen.

Dont know about you, but In my time I've knocked thousands of doors for the Labour Party. One of the many things that I could never get my head around was people like the woman of the clip, voting for the very Party who do everything they can to keep them in that awful situation.

Nothing worse than a working class Tory. The politics in this country are nasty, they're not compassionate, that's why i support Corbyn and that's why i'm now a member of the Labour Party. Hated Blair and didn't think much of Milliband. This Tory government are crucifying the poorest and most vulnerable, massive advocates of the free market that allows zero hour contracts and non existent working conditions. It's killing people and effecting those around them.

There are a lot of posters on this thread who are deluding themselves that the Labour Party cares any more about ordinary working people than the Conservative Party. I heard a Labour Party spokesman on the radio this morning say we need immigration because "crops are rotting in the ground". In other words, we need people working in non-union, zero hours, short-term jobs. These agricultural workers will also have sub-standard housing and they will be bullied by gangmasters and gangsters. These posters who shout "I hate the Tories" need to open their eyes a bit wider.

    Re: Ken Loach

Very few people understand the Conservative Party.

Labour activists do protest strongly and has a preference for hurling abuse at them , and treating the word “Tory” as an obscenity without really explaining its hate in a measured detailed way.

What are reasons that has allowed them to become the most consistent and successful party over the past two centuries ??? .

It potentialy stands on the brink of another election victory, why , why, does the alledged nasty keep winning???

What reasonably can't be ignored , is its continued success over such a long period , if you add in the Tory Lite Blair years, one might argue it as been a successful project that has appealed and brought prosperity to the UK , and it's highly respected standing in the world, for fairness and inclusiveness, millions have sought a path to the UK to share in that success , wealth and opportunity to better themselves ?

If as some say they are that bad or evil would they have not have been totally cast aside by the electorate and left to rot in opposition .

My guess is there's a little aspiration Tory in a lot of folk without admitting to it.

Ahhh... finally an explanation for why you say that you used to be a Labour supporter. Case closed.

    Re: Ken Loach

Disappointingly, there is very little in the way of genuine opposition to the Tories nowadays.
I’m voting green this time. Would love to see them get in and find out how they’d do.
Couldn’t be any worse than the lab/Tory dross I’ve experienced in my lifetime.

NuLabour are traitors to the poor and working class, the forefathers of Labour must be turning in their graves at what has become of their party, at times in over the last few decades it would be difficult to get a fag paper between the Red Tories and Blue Tories policies.

The Yellow Tories are nothing like the old home rule party of years ago, they showed their true colours when they got into bed with the Blue Tories.

The only vote is looking like Plaid in Wales, SNP in Scotland and Greens in England.

The Labour spokesman who made the crops rotting in the ground comment was John McDonnell. He is hardly New Labour.

If he was old Labour he would not be in the Labour of the last few decades.

It's probably the Labour Party who are responsible for the strawberry picking immigrants that travel to Spain every year for short-term, non-union, zero hour jobs, innit?

    Bastards!

Not sure what case is closed, I won't or ever will vote for the Tories I was simply trying to ask the question why they have been in power for so long , only really interrupted by a moderate socialist Blair goverment, can you shed some light to thier success?
