Thread: VAR again

    VAR again

Grealish goal disallowed because someone’s heel was offside in previous phase .....

I hate the way these decisions are being made as to naked eye the players are at least level therefore onside however after 5 minutes of checking with lines and dashes , the goal is disallowed.

We may as well do away with officials running the line as there is no way they could give these decisions!

    “ it’s not football anymore...!!”

    Re: VAR again

Do you think VAR would be better without these yellow lines imprinted onto the image to give more detail, if it was just two or three extra camera angles that could give the referee the chance to review big decisions? Isn't that more similar to how it's done in rugby and American football where there are fewer game breaks rather than tennis and cricket?

    Re: VAR again

I just don't think it fits the game. The sport and its rules weren't created with var technology in mind, it was never suppose to be examined down to the millimetre and the stoppages that arriving at these decisions mean.

Make it clear and obvious and just get on with the game.
