Agree with the “laughable” comment. Anyway, Warnock publicly said that Paterson couldn’t tackle. Not helpful and not a particularly clever thing to do in my view. It might be true but there’s no need to say it. He may well have played more times for Scotland at full back as a Cardiff City player than he did for us. As a further thought has his international career come to a halt ? I don’t recall any recent selections. Perhaps Scotland don’t want to pick a full back who has been publicly denounced as not being able to tackle.
