Why is it so bad in the valleys yet Cardiff seems ok?

Nah, valleys mentality of believing that you're right about something even if facts show you haven't got a clue.

I'd also say that although there are terraced streets like the one I now live on in Cardiff, there are far more of them up here - people tend to live much closer to each other up here and I believe this makes it easier for the virus to spread, it cannot be a coincidence that the virus has been most prevalent in the poorest areas this autumn.

Yes. Family and friends live close together.

There is also far more of a community in the valleys than the City.
