Students are being tested en masse. The point is was trying to make is despite the student testing the areas of high incidence in Cardiff are not in the typical student areas like Cathay, Roath

Congratulations to Pfizer for their new Covid-19 vaccine.

The same company which makes Viagra.

I have complete faith in the new vaccine.

If a company can raise the dead then surely they can cure the living,

    Re: Coronavirus update

Over 1,900 new cases today with 400 plus in Blaenau Gwent and RCT and 300 plus in Cardiff and Swansea. I think that might be a highest yet for Wales, but the figure for tests of nearly 20,000 was as the ighest I've seen.

Especially as there is such stiff opposition.

I’m surprised they haven’t set up a massive tent on Castle Steet yet.

The buses are going through Castle Street again and picking up outside the Castle as usual. Have you seen the new set up? It's hilarious. The bus shelters on the pavement, then there's a six feet wide cycle lane, then there are bus stops in the middle of the road. They've put pedestrian crossings across the cycle lanes. I shit you not.

Clearly you've never been hit by a bicycle going at full pelt

I haven't, not yet, but it will be greatly amusing when somebody inevitably is. Not for those involved, obviously, but you know what I mean. A genuine accident waiting to happen.

What's the difference between a push bike and a motor vehicle? Apart from a few tonne and speed.

You haven’t seen the new set-up, have you? Take a look. I’d be interested in your thoughts.

I will, I rarely go into the city centre, although I have to buy a few presents so I'll take a look when I go in. Bluetit can't even spy from the runner at the moment. #prayforbluetit

Being hit by a fast ridden push bike can do a person serious damage.
I once witnessed a woman hit by a cyclist on Station road/Bridge road near the school. He hit her full tilt and she was taken to hospital, broken arm split head and unconscious. It is not to be laughed at.
and I have seen cyclists ignoring pedestrian crossings. I saw one guy who fell (was pushed?) off his bike whilst weaving through people on a pelicon crossing, who jumped up and demanded to know why the had got in his way.
I gave my particulars to the police who attended and some time later his solicitor had the cheek to write to me asking if I'd make a statement to the effect that she was partly to blame by moving in front of him as he tried to pass her, completely ignoring the fact that she (and the cyclist) was on the pavement. And of course there was no insurance for her to claim off, as there should be!

The problem is that some cyclist ruin it for others (as in all things) because they think the rules of the road only apply to everyone else and not them.

    In the correct order now

I had to drive into Kingsway a couple of times last week on business and if you could see the works that have been done on the roads it would be quite clear to anyone that the Council never had any intention of allowing the road to revert to its former use at all.
Despite all their protestation of consulting people before making any decisions they made their collective mind up as soon as they saw an opportunity to close it.
There is no way that some of those works could ever have been described as temporary.
The whole thing was both premeditated and deceitful, almost blatently lying to the citizens who used it about their intentions.

Couldn't believe it on tonights BBC Wales news. The vaccine arrives at a hospital in Wrexham. The pharmacist says they've not handled anything before that needs to be stored at such low temperatures. Pfizer say the vaccine is stable for short periods in the fridge.

Then the camera pans to someone who has the box of vaccines in front of her and she's counting them to check the contents of the box!!

    Hope they still work.

Another pic purported to be of vaccine arriving somewhere and the driver of a van had the fridge box open and was holding a cardboard box 'of the vaccine' in his bare hands. From a -70 freezer??? Right!!

I saw that photo. You have this image of it all arriving under armed escort, in reality it’s more like an Amazon driver in a rush....

Good to see footage on tv of the first person having the vaccine. Feels like weve turned a corner. Her name escapes me.
The second person to receive it was apparently called William Shakespeare. It had to be (or not) didnt it?
