Is that because they just send you off to various schools for training/experience etc? That’s a right shame....we need more younger teachers!

So University students don't socialise and visit Student Unions to drink and eat. How times have changed. A Scottish University has 500 students in quarantine.

I doubt the student union in Cardiff is open, in fact it’s being rebuilt so no worries there. One big factor on keeping pubs open is where do the 50,000 students in Cardiff hang out if they close them all? Pubs or house parties?

The record for new cases in a day for the UK is 6,201 recorded in May, but there were 6,178 today with 37 deaths. Although it's hardly a like for like comparison because there are so many more tests now, that's a rise which puts on the same sort of course as Spain and France experienced recently.

Moves fast this virus, one of my team caught it off a contractor, a few days later around 30 of us have a cold. My team member has a headache has a test which comes back positive. No cough. no sore throat, no breathing issues, no temperature, no loss of taste but a positive test. Seems the symptoms are random. I've been off since last Tuesday, got wiped out & spent 3 days sleeping with total fatigue but again none of the "look out for" symptoms. My 10 days is up in a couple of days.

Beware, the symptoms are not obvious, it's a different response person by person.

What industry are you in. 30 infected. Were you indoors or outdoors. That sort of infection rate would suggest being in a pub with someone with it and your fecked 2 metres or not.

    Automotive

    Indoors

30 in isolation, not all test results back but those that are back are positive

We have extreme measures & cleaning in place, which has been judged as benchmark by SMMT.

It just took one contact with a 3rd party and it's up & running

Just tried to download the new App onto my IPhone 6 only to learn that it is not compatible with my phone because I can't get the appropriate version of IOS. So, a phone that is only five years old is considered obsolete for the official App for the virus which has killed ten of thousands in this country - a virus that is shown to be more virulent and fatal in poorer areas, the sort of areas where people are more likely to have older phones because they can't afford newer ones. I'd add as well that the most vulnerable age group are not in the habit of rushing out and buying the new IPhone when it is released every year - there will be millions of older people in this country who will not be able to use the App this morning even if they were minded to.

I was surprised I was able to download the ap so easily. I thought that there would be huge demand meaning delays in downloading it but that wasn't the case. The ap seems quite impressive with functions that were better than expected.

Fair play to this government, they're always well prepared in advance and cover all bases.

Might aswell chuck us on list in the vale aswell as we'll be pretty much surrounded with areas on local lockdowns.
Can still drive through the fire to tenby or brecon beacons i guess though.

Cardiff, Swansea and Llanelli to join those other areas with restrictions this weekend - must be about three quarters of the population on Wales involved now?

I can't see anywhere that says what the actual restrictions are for Cardiff yet though
