Thread: Has anyone watched 'The Last Man on Earth' TV series?

Has anyone watched 'The Last Man on Earth' TV series?

I saw the first two episodes on a flight two years ago and it struck me as quite wacky and worth seeing more of: it's about about a post-apocalyptic USA after a virus pandemic. I've tracked it down in recent weeks in various places on the net (and I notice that it's available via Amazon Prime) and it becomes increasingly oddball as time goes on.
I'm just about to start the fourth (and last series) and it's very oddball but, for this humble soul, very entertaining.

Is this an expansion/update of the Charlton Heston film (The Omega Man,I think it was called)?

    Edit-

Just looked on IMDB; Nothing common in writing credits, but seems to be same story

I enjoyed it, bit wacky and could be annoying in places but usually made me laugh at least once an episode.

How could it be the last man on earth? Who would film and watch it?

I loved this series, been a few years but I remember being gutted when they cancelled it, last season ended on a good cliff hanger too.

I had the Karaoke song they did stuck in my head for months after

All of the other characters in the show. It's funny. You should watch it.

I am not familiar with Omega Man but I don't reckon it's the same story as series is one of the most bizarre series that you will see on TV.
