Feck the (dying) music culture in Cardiff, we need more flats, apparently.

A once vibrant city renowned for it's diversity and live bands in pubs and clubs has taken a big knock since the 90's and it looked as though it could be on the up again with the opening of the Tramshed.
Not that I go to watch many bands these days (perhaps because not many play these days!) but this must not be allowed to happen!
Grrrr
The point, the coal exchange, buffalo, Gwdihw, ten ft tall now this....never ending bollocks going on. Cardiff council need to protect these venues
Saw some of my favourite bands at the Welsh club and the coal exchange
Clutch , deftones , will haven , and you will know us by the trail of the dead
Cardiff is awful for live venues
The barfly used to have a lot of rock and metal bands but it was too small
The coal exchange was great but that's gone , the point was good
Millenium music hall was ok , thats gone
The great hall at the university is ok but it's a poor view
The Arena is not an arena and is dreadful
It's all going tits up
They probably could have saved Gwdihw, by telling the owners of the building they wanted to put a preservation order on it was the kiss of death. As soon as they knew this, there plans went into full swing to demolish it all for the masterplan of office or flat developments.
Saved the facade I guess....
Great news - the plans have been dropped 😊

Without taking down a single statue too......
Some sense at last!
Does the space that was the Top Rank still exist? What is it now?
